Grants
The Estonian Visual Health Center provides vision aids with a state discount. Visual aids are provided with state support for the visually impaired, whose vision is less than one-third of normal visual acuity when using aids
State support is available on the basis of a personal aid card. Card applications are accepted by the Social Insurance Board and can be submitted by e-mail as well as by post or at the Board’s customer services all over Estonia. To obtain a personal aid card, the applicant must have a valid medical certificate or rehabilitation plan..
